Vice President Delcy Rodríguez reported that 12 new infections by covid-19 were registered in the last hours. The official specified that of the total number of cases, ten are of the so-called imported ones and only two are due to community transmission.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, he specified that the community positives were detected in the Capital District (1) and the state of Yaracuy (1). Regarding those imported, he indicated that they were seven people from Spain, two from Mexico and one from the Dominican Republic, all with entry through the state of Vargas.
“Unfortunately, in the last few hours a 61-year-old man died of the pandemic in Zulia state,” he announced.
Delcy Rodríguez pointed out that 966 days after the arrival of the coronavirus (March 2020), a total of 546,110 infections have been registered, there are 539,678 recovered patients and 5,082 deaths. He detailed that there are 609 active covid-19 cases to date.
