The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, affirmed in Bariloche that with the management carried out by the Palacio de Hacienda the uncertainty was won and the macroeconomic fundamentals began to stabilize.
“We are at a time when we have beaten the uncertainty and we are beginning to stabilize our macroeconomic fundamentals again; it is key that we have the capacity, beyond stabilizing, to think about the medium and long term in Argentina,” he said. Massa leading an act in which the tender for the construction of the Alipiba II high-voltage line was announced.
He also referred to energy security and argued that Argentina can become “a great player in that battle.”
In this sense, it is essential to “transform energy security into State policy” to provide security and stability in the next 30 years to this type of investment, said the official.
“These projects should be considered State policies because when we plan or design an energy matrix, high, medium, low, what we are defining is what type of energy we consume, but also what type of growth we want for our communities,” affirmed the official, after referring to the launch of the Alipiba II high-voltage line work that will double the capacity of the industrial park in Bariloche and Villa La Angostura.
Massa also referred to the work carried out by the Nation, Province and municipalities, and stressed the importance of debating not only at electoral times.
“The work of the Nation, Province and municipalities, somehow forces us all to think that, at electoral times we have to debate, but at times when there are no elections, instead of arguing and pretending to be right, we What we have to do is solve the problems of our citizens”, stressed the minister.
