During a visit to the studios of radio Universo / Nación Media, Iván Ojeda, head of the National Statistics Institute (INE), highlighted that the National Census 2022 It will take place next Wednesday, November 9.

Excepted activities:
- National, departmental, municipal authorities, diplomatic authorities and representatives of international organizations for the exercise of their urgent functions, public and private sector officials for the provision of essential services; public and private health services, preventive and emergency maintenance services for medical and hospital equipment, health personnel, Military and Police Forces, migratory activity, meteorological service, firefighters and air traffic control, who are in active service on that date .
- People who must assist others with disabilities and older adults.
- Media workers for the provision of their services.
- People affected by the activities of the census.
- Maintenance of basic services (water, electricity, communications), and emergencies.
- Activities that the Central Bank of Paraguay has essential to guarantee the functioning of the banking and financial system.
- Logistics Chain (ports, river ships, shipping lines).
- Funeral services.
- Pharmacies located in the vicinity of public hospitals and private sanatoriums, up to a maximum distance of 100 (one hundred) meters, will operate under a guard system with the minimum number of officials.
- Participants in Seminars and/or International Congresses scheduled in advance of the enactment of Law 6987/2022.
- Essential workers for the operation of hotels that have clients staying on that date. These guests will be registered under the modality of collective housing.

- Essential surveillance, cleaning and guard services.
- Those activities not contemplated in these regulations: they will be handled by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) in coordination with the Institution or Organization responsible for the affected area.
In addition, the people affected by the activities and services mentioned above must carry their respective accreditations that certify them as such (card, certificates, records, permits, etc.)

What time does the Census start?
