The militancy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the state of Cojedes, held a warm meeting with the first vice president of the political group, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, in the swearing in of popular grassroots teams.
Iris Varela, PSUV political liaison for Cojedes, emphasized that the party’s militancy is rising and growing in this territory, preparing to retake political spaces in the entity.
The also vice president of the National Assembly, assured that the ranks of the largest party in Latin America are prepared to work in unity and achieve revolutionary victories in Cojedes.
The activity took place in the “José Luis Pandares” basketball gym in San Carlos, where the recently elected heads of community, street and Bolívar Chávez Battle Units (UBCh) gathered in the communities of the 9 municipalities of Cojedes.
“This act makes that fascist opposition of the state and the country tremble, here is a clear demonstration of the courage, love and strength of the Chavista people (…) as Commander Chávez taught us, we have to know how to build and the important thing is to lay some good foundations, here are the solid foundations of the party in the state of Cojedes».
“Here are the revolutionaries in a state that has always been Chavista and is not daunted, here no right won, what happened was we divided, and we are going to swear before the Venezuelan people that the Bolivarian Revolution here is going to retake the spaces and It will guarantee a resounding victory of the revolutionary forces to our President Nicolás Maduro when appropriate, “he concluded.
“Cojedes is reborn via socialism and revolution”
With this phrase the first vice president of the PSUV began his speech before the crowd that accompanied this swearing-in ceremony.
Hairstated that the task of the militants together with the political liaison is to organize the party, and do what is necessary to win new victories.
Likewise, he recognized the militancy and the newly elected grassroots structures. “You are the result of a grassroots election, you were elected by your own people, you have authentic and unique origin legitimacy.”
“Being bosses is only the first step, they have to become leaders and that is achieved with work and communication with their people,” he exhorted.
He reported that on November 12, the application process for parish, municipal and regional leadership of the PSUV will be carried out throughout the entity.

In this way, the grassroots structures were formally sworn in. “There is no doubt that Cojedes is a Chavista state, let’s take responsibility and from now on let’s march together along the path of the Bolivarian revolution,” he closed.
