The former soccer player Carlos Tevez announced this Thursday, surprisingly, his resignation from the position of coach of Central Rosary after just over four months at the club.
‘El Apache’, who took office at the end of June and signed a one-year contract, called a press conference to announce his departure from the institution that will have presidential elections in mid-December.

“I step aside thinking about the club. I think it’s not convenient for anyone that I follow. The new leadership or this one has to make decisions and I don’t want to be an obstacle for anyone, that everyone can do what they want” Tevez maintained.
“It doesn’t seem fair to me, if the opposition wins, I stay as a nuisance. The opposition is not going to want me to win Carlos Tevez. That is why I want to run to the side, I did not come to do politics, I always put Central above everything, “he added.
‘El Apache’, who with Boca Juniors won the Libertadores and the Intercontinental in 2003 and the South American in 2004, among other titles, directed 23 games in his first experience as a coach, with six wins, ten draws and seven wins.

Tévez, 38, considered that “the most beautiful thing about Central is its people” and assured that it was “very hard” to say goodbye to the players.
“It was very hard. The boys saw me as a father. It was like a father to them. We had a very nice relationship,” he concluded.
