The Integral Aerospace System of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) disabled, in the Camejo municipality of Apure state, plane number 33 linked to drug trafficking that has entered the country so far in 2022.
This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his account on the social network Twitter.
In this regard, he explained that with this new disablement, there are a total of 311 aircraft linked to drug trafficking that have been neutralized by the FANB since 2012.
He also said that these aircraft are used by irregular groups for “the cross-border crime of drug trafficking, illegal mining trafficking, transfer of irregular elements and weapons.”

In another message, Hernández Lárez indicated that, “in the state of Apure (was) destroyed a drug trafficking plane that tried to arbitrarily and illegally enter Venezuelan territory, along with a video showing the military operation.
On the other hand, on October 29, the Head of Ceofanb pointed out that the FANB had disabled aircraft number 32 of the year 2022 of the Colombian Armed Terrorist Narcotrafficking groups (Tancol).

In this regard, Hernández Lárez has reiterated that members of the FANB are deployed throughout the national territory to guarantee sovereignty and combat criminal groups, mainly in border areas.
Frontal fight against drug trafficking
Patrolling operations, disabling aircraft and scanning the country’s borders are carried out to completely put an end to the illicit activities of groups related to drug trafficking.
In this context, the FANB has disabled 311 aircraft since 2012 when military operations against these illegal actions began.
