In evidence period, complaint against Calderón in The Hague: Adán López

Saltillo, Coah., The Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández, affirmed that the lawsuit against former President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa before the International Criminal Court in The Hague It is in the period of evidence formation, and there is another complaint in other international courts. That is why Genaro García Luna (former Secretary of Public Security) is detained in the United States.

The only Mexican complaint against Calderón in The Hague is for crimes against humanity from 2006-2007, during the government of Ulises Ruiz Ortiz in Oaxaca.

The lawsuit was filed by the Ombudsman for Human Rights of the People of Oaxaca in April 2019, and includes former presidents Felipe Calderón and Vicente Fox, former attorney general of the republic and former secretary of public security Eduardo Medina Mora and also former attorney Daniel Francisco Cabeza de Vaca.

López Hernández criticized “the corruption and all the businesses that, under the pretext of public security tasks, the governments of Calderón and Fox carried out, of such sad memory for Mexicans. one promoting the cannabis and the other as a lobbyist for the transnationals.”

In his speech at the Coahuila Congress to promote security reform, he told the state deputies: and if we have time, we could talk about a true electrical reform that the country requires.
