Avoid falling into the hands of scammers

Ask your bank or financial institution for a letter of no debt

Once you have finalized your financial commitments, the financial institution must update the information to the risk centers to “clean” your credit history. If you want to speed up the process, or find outdated information in the credit bureau, you have the option of requesting a letter of no debt to take to Experian so that they can update your information as quickly as possible.

Submit an Information Review Request

If you believe that the information contained in the credit report is inaccurate, erroneous, expired or not up to date, you can submit a request for review of information in which you indicate the name of the entity whose information you want to be reviewed. This procedure is 100% free and must contain the basic information of the owner of the information, in addition to proof of non-debt, which gives you support to support your request.

How long will I continue to appear as delinquent?

According to Art. 10 of Law 27489, modified by Law 27863; if you were in arrears and you caught up, it will appear in the system that you are up to date, and for 24 months the historical arrears will be reflected. It is not possible to eliminate historical information from the system, but it is possible to improve your credit score and profile, since paying off your debt could improve your profile.
