The Santo Domingo province government The municipality of Los Alcarrizos and its two municipal districts, Palmarejo-Villa Linda and Pantoja, carried out a day of operations, where dozens of people were treated.
During the simultaneous operations, general medicine and dental services check-ups were carried out; as well as a vaccination program against influenza and Covid-19.
Fumigation operations were also carried out and medicines were delivered to children, pregnant women and adults in general. During the operation, pregnant women received hundreds of baskets and protein.
In addition, residents received more than two thousand servings of raw food, as well as more than four thousand servings of cooked food.
Governor Julia Drullard He maintained that this campaign aims to bring health closer to the most vulnerable people in these demarcations, and thus prevent and lower disease rates.
The official indicated that on the instructions of the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, medical operations were carried out simultaneously in the municipal districts of Palmarejo-Villa Linda, Pantoja, and in the municipality of Los Alcarrizos.
People from different sectors went to the multiuse to request the medical services that were being offered free of charge.
Also present at the medical operation were the Provincial Director of Health, Mr. Cordero; the director of Health Area VII, Dr. Luis Espinal; and on behalf of Area VIII of Health, the epidemiologist Dr. Francia Álvarez.
