The commercial air operation between Colombia and Venezuela, One of the pending points of the resurgent relationship between the two countries would begin this Monday, November 7. This was stated by the ambassador of Bogotá in Caracas, Armando Benedetti, through his Twitter account.

On the Colombian side the state will fly satin through the route Bogota – Caracas and the Venezuelan private airline Turpial will cover the Caracas – Bogotá route.
For now, neither the Civil Aeronautics nor the Ministry of Transportation have made Benedetti’s announcement official.

Towards the end of October 2022, the Ministry of Transport itself assured that, in total, there are six companies that have been authorized for now, three from Colombian soil and three from Venezuelan territory. Thus, the airlines are: Avianca, Wingo and Satena (for Colombia), and Laser, Turpial and Conviasa (for Venezuela).

With Benedetti’s recent trill, Turpial Airlines, which received the endorsement in the first instance a month ago, is once again selected for the inaugural flights.
