The mayor of Canelones, the Frente Amplio member Yamandú Orsi, finished separating his former adviser Javier Chá from his position, of whom an audio had gone viral in which he uttered a glossary of insults to right-wing voters, after the defeat of Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil against Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
“He submitted the resignation and I accepted it,” Orsi responded when asked by the press on the subject. “I think everything has been said, what appears in that audio cannot be accepted”, he added.
Chá’s audio spread like wildfire on social networks and messaging services. He claimed that he had sent it to a friend, and said: “I was talking to friends of mine who are close to Lula, it’s a merrymaking, a huge party, they’re celebrating like crazy. In addition, they assured me, because I called to get the go-ahead and to be assured, that one of the first measures that Lula is going to take is that he is going to locate and put all the buffoons that are around Brazil, the border with Uruguay, so that all the chupapijas, the right-wing briscos, all the right-wing bottle-eaters go there, they can go there to the border with Brazil to get their asses slit because they are going to get caught… caught all of them”.
And he added: “Have a nice time, there are 23 months left until we break your ass in Uruguay.”
