The urban violence, ways of communicating it and its production in terms of collective imaginaries will be the axes of Fourth Fundéu Argentina Seminarwhich will begin this Thursday in the Santa Fe city of Rosario, and which will feature prominent communication professionals, including the president of the Télam Agency, Bernarda Llorente.
The activity organized by Fundéu Argentina, the program for urgent Spanish of the Fundación de la Lengua de Rosario, will run from Thursday to Friday through three panels and subsequent work sessions.

The seminar will take place at the Argentine Library of Rosario, located at Calle Presidente Roca 731, and the opening is scheduled for this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with access to the general public, Fundéu Argentina reported in a statement.
There, academics, journalists, media specialists and other communicators “They will share their reflections on the conditions and problems that mark everyday life and the relationships of coexistence in our cities today.”
“They will also discuss the challenges that this problem represents for the ethical and responsible use of words and images in the field of communication,” the communication added.
The seminar is entitled “Urban violence, communication and collective imaginaries.”
In the first of the panels, called “Ethics and social responsibility in times of algorithms” and convened for this Thursday at 6 pm, after the opening, the president of Télam, Llorente; the lawyer and doctor in Social Sciences Esteban Rodríguez Alzueta; the executive director of the Association of Argentine Journalistic Entities (Adepa), Andrés D’Alessandro; and the university professor, journalist and deputy secretary of the Rosario Press Union (SPR), Alicia Simeoni.
Friday’s schedule
While on Friday at 10 in the morning the panel “Words, images and social stigmatization” will take place, by the Conicet researcher, teacher and writer Natalia Aruguete; the journalist and writer Osvaldo Aguirre; and the local journalist from the newspaper La Capital -among other media- Hernán Lascano.
In the afternoon, from 2:00 p.m., the community editor of the newspaper La Nación, Javier Drovetto; and Rosario journalists Juan Chiummiento and Jorgelina Hiba will discuss “Solutions journalism: Narrating to transform?”according to the schedule.
