Lieutenant José Pineda of the National Directorate of Traffic Operations (DNOT) of the National Police, provided details this morning on Radio Panama about the lane reversal operation, which will take place during the country’s national holidays.
According to Pineda, starting today the pilgrimage begins, reversal of lanes, dry law, among other measures that will seek to prevent incidents in the middle of the festivities.
«For today, November 2, we start from the Bridge of the Americas to Arraiján at 12:00 noon until 6:00 pm Later, depending on the influx of vehicles, from 10:00 am La Espiga – Campana – Sajalices – San José”, he indicated.
He said that on November 3 the same points mentioned above will be maintained.
While, for November 6, the ‘Operation Return’ will be carried out, with the same points in the direction of Panama, starting at 6:00 p.m.
He recommended avoiding parking at entrances to beaches, so as not to reduce the mobility of the rest of the vehicles.
He also remembered not to drive while drinking alcoholic beverages and to keep the vehicle insurance up to date.
