Cosse will attend the Departmental Board of Montevideo before the end of the year

Cosse will attend the Departmental Board of Montevideo before the end of the year

In a press conference held in the framework of the inauguration of the 44th International Book Fair, the mayor said that: “due to agenda items, it will be seen when, but I am going to request a visit before the end of the year. I want to go to the meeting to raise some important issues that the mayor is carrying out and to reflect on some necessary regulatory changes.

Asked about her relationship with the councilors after the Board requested her impeachment, the Departmental Head declared that from her point of view “There is nothing to rebuild, we always build, we always propose and work. We work hard and we are going to continue along this line of seriousness, respect and construction”.

For its part, the bench of Senators of the Broad Front yesterday requested the “immediate filing” of the impeachment request against Cosse and called on the coalition parties to give a “message of responsibility” in the face of the board’s request, which they consider ” disproportionate”.
