Héctor Ventura: "Minister Huerta has lasted too long in office"

The Popular Force congressman and president of the Oversight Commission, Héctor Ventura, pointed out that the Minister of the Interior, Willy Huerta, “has already lasted too long in office”, after the appointment of Juan Carlos Delgado as advisor in this purse.

“Appointment of former advisor to the Minsa, Juan Carlos Delgado, in the Ministry of the Interior, reminds us that Huerta has lasted too long as head of that sector,” wrote.

Ventura’s message comes after the Ministry of the Interior today appointed Juan Carlos Delgado Echevarría, a former Ministry of Health official who has been implicated in the alleged ‘smurfing’ carried out by former Minister Jorge, as a new adviser to Willy Huerta’s office. López to make payments to his ex-partner.

Ministerial resolution 1536-2022-IN, published this Tuesday, November 1 in the legal regulations bulletin of El Peruano, bears the signature of Huerta and makes Delgado official as advisor II of his ministerial office, in a position that was vacant according to reads in the document.

It should be noted that in September of this year the motion of censure formulated against the Minister of the Interior, Willy Huerta Olivas, “due to his manifest moral incapacity and lack of suitability for the exercise of the position”, did not reach the required number of votes, that is, the vote in favor of more than half of the legal number of congressmen established in the Congress Regulations.
