Participating in the alliance are the four niche microcredit banks, seven credit establishments, the Banco Agrario, 176 savings and credit cooperatives, five financial cooperatives and about 10 NGOs.
Within the framework of the 12th Asomicrofinance Congress, the Minister of Finance, José Antonio Ocampo, said that “Our bet is that the entities of the Bicentennial Group articulate and develop a credit inclusion strategy for the popular economy, in which the tools and driving factors are developed so that the entities can carry a financing offer adjusted to the characteristics and microcredit needs of the country”.
