The Phillies take advantage in the World Series at the point of home runs

With an offense that hit 5 homers and Venezuelan Ranger Suárez had a quality start by not allowing runs and only three hits to the Astros batters, so that Philadelphia asserted its locality and beat Houston 7-0 by shutout taking advantage in the World Series 2 games to 1.

Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Rhys Hoskins, Brandon Marsh and Alec Bohm hit home runs off Lance Mccullers Jr who made history by being the first pitcher to allow 5 home runs in a postseason game and charge with the loss in this Game 3 of the Fall Classic.

The Phillies tied the record for most home runs in a World Series game with 5, equaling what was done by the Yankees in 1929, the Oakland Athletics in 1989 and the Houston Astros in 2017, it is worth noting that each of those teams managed to win the world series in those years.

Ranger Suarez became the sixth Venezuelan to win a World Series game by pitching 5 innings, allowing 3 hits, no runs, and the Phillies bullpen looked phenomenal when 4 pitchers combined to only allow two hits, no runs, pinning down Houston’s offense.

Panamanian Edmundo Sosa saw action in the game entering the ninth inning defensively at third base and had no official turn, Sosa has participated in all 3 games of the World Series. The fourth game will take place on Wednesday night where the Astros must win to avoid falling behind 3-1 in this World Series.
