As of November 1, there will be the second increase in gasoline prices announced by the Minister of Finance, José Antonio Ocampo, in an effort to reduce the present deficit in the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund.
The increase of 200 pesos per month already positions, for November, the average prices in 9,579 pesos for gasoline and 9,011 pesos for ACPM per gallon.

It should be remembered that diesel will not register an adjustment in its price, in line with President Gustavo Petro’s decision not to strongly affect the country’s inflation figures.
Now, the city with the highest gas price is Villavicencio where it exceeds 10,000 pesos and is located at a value of 10,023 pesos. On the contrary, the place with the cheapest gasoline is Cúcuta with a price of 7,976 pesos.
These prices will begin to apply from November 1 in the main cities of the country.
It is important to highlight that, including this adjustment, Colombia continues having one of the cheapest gasoline and diesel prices in Latin America thanks to the operation of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund (FEPEC), which has mitigated the inflationary pressure of the increases in the prices of oil and its derivatives in recent months.
In the event of not having had the operation of the Fund, so far in 2022, the price of regular motor gasoline would have been more than $6,400 above the current average sale price per gallon and of diesel more than in $10,000.
