The deadline for all candidates who contested the first round of elections to render all campaign accounts ends tomorrow (1st), 30 days after the election, according to the electoral calendar.
The delivery of the documentation is done completely online, through the Electoral Accounts Rendering System (SPCE). Proof of all bank transactions, such as checks, statements and proof of transfers, payments and donations, as well as contracts, invoices, receipts and all documentation that proves the use of resources in the electoral campaign must be presented.
The documentation must cover both resources from individuals, through donations, as well as public resources, coming from the Special Fund for Campaign Financing (Electoral Fund) or from the Party Fund.
“It is worth remembering that the diplomacy of those elected is conditioned to the presentation and judgment of the accounts by the Electoral Justice”, warns the Superior Electoral Court (TSE).
In the case of candidates who competed in the second round, the deadline for rendering accounts is November 19, both for the position of president and governor.
According to the Law of Elections (Law 9.504/1997) provides that all campaign accounts of elected candidates are judged by December 15th, three days before the deadline for graduation, on December 19th.
