The candidate for the Vice Presidency of the Republic, for the Beloved Homeland Party (PPQ), Patricia Dos Santos spoke before a group of women from the city of Obligado (Itapúa), in the framework of a tour carried out in the southern region, accompanied by the pre-candidate for the Presidency Sebastián Villarejo and that covered other cities such as Fram and Encarnación.
Dos Santos urged women to participate in politics, to be protagonists of change.
“We want women to venture into political activity, to be participants in the change that is coming,” she said during a meeting organized by the Hohenau councilor, Raquel Tiemann, and Rosa Sosa, a candidate for Deputies for the Itapúa Department.
We must be encouraged to carry out development projects in the city, since this region made up of Hohenau, Obligado, Fram and other towns, are immensely rich productive areas and very hard-working people, said the candidate.
After the meeting, Dos Santos led an entertaining walk with women and youth from Obligado and Hohenau.
