The President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, assured that if there are unfinished works that the commissioned companies are not in charge of completing to deliver to the citizens, the Government will execute them through the personnel of the Ministry of Defense.
During a speech in the Yanahuanca square, in Pasco, he explained that he participated in a virtual meeting with some state ministers to be able to make an “important announcement to the country.”
“We are going to review all the contracts that the country has, in all the ministries, for all the works and we are going to give these companies a deadline to carry out the works. And if you don’t do them, the Government will take it and through the Ministry of Defense, through the team of engineers that the Ministry of Defense has, take it and do it directly “assured.
Pedro Castillo stressed the importance of unfinished works being handed over to the people for the benefit of all citizens.
Along these lines, he warned that the Minister of Transportation and Communications, Richard Tineo, must prepare a report on the situation of paralyzed works in Pasco in order to unblock them as soon as possible.
