Venezuela sympathizes with the Republic of Korea for the tragedy in Seoul

Venezuela rejects US human rights report

Venezuela sent its solidarity and condolences to the people of the Republic of Korea for the death of 149 people and at least 150 injureds, after a stampede during a celebration in the country’s capital, Seoul.

This was reported by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry through its Twitter account.

In the document, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela “wishes for the speedy recovery of those affected as a result of this unfortunate event” and reiterates its friendship with the Korean people.

Below is the full text of the statement:

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela extends its deepest condolences to the People of the Republic of Korea for the human losses, after a stampede that occurred during the celebration of a holiday in the city of Seoul.

Faced with this tragic event, Venezuela expresses its words of solidarity with the families and friends of the victims, and wishes for the speedy recovery of those affected as a result of this unfortunate event.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reiterates its solidarity and friendship with the Korean people, and we send our heartfelt words of strength in the face of this situation.
