South. The National Election Jury (JNE) will hold debates between the candidates who will compete for the regional government in a second round. Nine regions will have these elections, and in the south only Cuzco Y Moquegua they will (the latter will have a second round for the first time).
Milagros Suito, National Director of Education and Civic Training of the JNE, reported that the debates will be held on November 17, 18 and 19 consecutively, at the rate of three debates per day.
They will be broadcast on television stations with the highest ratings and coverage in the regions.
In Cuzco the graduate in Administration competes for the governorship Edy Cuellar Margholt (Inka Pachakuteq Regional Movement) and the agricultural engineer Wener Salcedo Alvarez (We are Peru). In Moquegua face the teacher Jaime Rodriguez Villanueva (Kausachun) and Bachelor of Laws, Gilia Gutierrez Ayala (We are Peru).
