Part of the millionaire resources obtained by the company General Suplay Electricattributed to alexis medina sanchezwere returned to the national economy supposedly in partisan political activities and in the acquisition of goods, the Public Ministry declared yesterday on the sixth day of the reading of the accusation of the Anti-octopus case.
He stated that the investment in political activities, as well as the payment of money to public employees, would have the purpose of “maintaining commercial relations with the State and the climate of impunity.” According to the indictment, the purpose of the company incorporated on February 17, 2014 was to obtain, through various mechanisms, resources and goods directly from the Ministry of Public Works, which was the largest part; the OISOE, the Directorate of Migration, and the Rural and Suburban Electrification Unit (UERS).
In said accusation it is indicated that in the periods between 2014 and 2019 he made sales to Migration for $4,416,803.59; a Public Works for $1,406,471,632.51 and to the UERS, for a total of $113,069,180.53.

The document says that the procurement of goods and services to these dependencies were not delivered and those that were delivered were overvalued.
According to the accusation that has some 48 defendants (including individuals and companies), the Reserve Bank, whose financial deputy director was the Lic. Aracelis Medinasister of Alexis Medina Sánchez, approved General Suplay Electric during the years 2016-2017, 14 loans amounting to RD$434,960,853.19.
And he adds that this was without the main accused having significant financial products.
It also highlights that out of a total of 28 Procurement and Contracting processes awarded to said company for a net value of RD$1,561,110,166.69, RD$1,133,905,367.29 was released in its favor, “resulting in a difference of RD$427,204,799.40, which could not be identified in the company bank accounts.
They are cited as partners of General Suplay Electric in addition to Alexis Medina Sánchez, who became part of it through his employee Omalto Gutierrez Remigio (deceased), to Julián Esteban Suriel Suazo, Samuel Peralta Sosa, José Antonio Peralta Sosa, Wacal Vernavel Méndez Pineda, and Messín Elías Márquez Sarraff.
The accusation of the Public Ministry will continue to be read next Friday, with the presence of the accused persons.
