Cuba will attend with a team in both sexes to the beach volleyball match of the I Central American and Caribbean Games of Sea and Beach of Santa Marta-2022, Colombia, which will be held from November 19 to 26.
The event will group 16 couples in each branch. So far, 21 countries have registered, of which 11 will participate in both the women’s and men’s tournaments.
In accordance with Hitthe representatives of Cuba in the male will be Noslen Díaz and Jorge Luis Alayo, who in the Norcerca circuit won a medal of each color.
The women’s team has not yet been defined. According to Hit, Amanda Armenteros and Jennifer Rivera, current national champions, are the main candidates to join the duo.
Maykelin Drik and Nahomí Reymond are also part of the preselection.
Leila Martínez and Lidianny Echevarría requested to leave the national team by personal decision, in the case of the latter, to recover after undergoing another knee operation.
