A total of 80 kilos with presumed illicit substances were found in a bocosa area, located at the end of Barriada Perla street, in Pilón, province of Colón.
The discovery was made after the National Police in conjunction with the Public Ministry carried out various operations from Playa Langosta, María Chiquita to the Perlas neighborhood in Pilón.
In these operations, 2 people were apprehended, and 2 vehicles were recovered. The detainees are linked to an alleged carjacking with a firearm, in María Chiquita.
Among other evidence collected are personal documents, cell phones, a computer, among other items, which will be placed under the orders of a Guarantee Judge.
The National Police reported that it maintains operations to neutralize lawbreakers involved in drug trafficking, among other crimes.
