At 33 years old, Paulinho is still active. The former Barça midfielder has been without a team since last September he left Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia and this Friday he signed a two-year contract, until December 2023, with Cortinthians.
Paulinho returns to Brazilian football and to Corinthians, in whose ranks he already played between 2010 and 2013, when he made the leap to Europe by signing for Tottenham (2013-2015). Later he went through Chinese Guangzhou Evergrande (2015-2017), Barça (2017-2018), Evergrande (2018-2021) and Al Ahli (2021).
In his previous stage, Paulinho won the Brazilian Championship (2011), the Copa Libertadores (2012), the Club World Cup (2012) and the Sao Paulo Championship (2013) with Corinthians.
