False physiotherapist accused of causing serious injuries to an infant

The Public ministry (MP) charged the 27-year-old citizen Enny Portillo for practicing false therapies on a three-month-old baby, causing serious injuries, in Maracay, Aragua state.

This was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab through his account on the social network Twitter.

“CHARGED by the @MinpublicoVEN #murderer ENNY PORTILLO who criminally practiced false “therapies” on a 3-month-old baby in Aragua, causing him serious injuries,” said the Prosecutor.

In addition, Saab indicated that the aforementioned citizen will be charged with the crimes of attempted intentional homicideusurpation of functions and illegal practice of medicine.

A video circulated through social networks where Portillo is observed making sudden and inappropriate movements as “physical therapies” to the infant.

Given this, the director of the Criminal and Criminalistics Scientific Investigations Corps (Cicpc), Douglas Rico reported on Wednesday night about the arrest of the physiotherapy student, who was placed under the order of the Public Ministry of the state of Aragua.

“A physiotherapy student in Aragua was captured for cruel treatment of a 3-month-old baby,” reported the director of the cicpc through his Twitter account.
