Eight people who presumably, on the afternoon of this Wednesday, October 26, robbed a jewelry store on Via Veneto, were apprehended by the National Police.
Ceferino Villarreal, National Director of Citizen Security, assured that among the detainees there are two minors who, together with 6 other subjects, allegedly broke into a jewelry store and stole several pieces of jewelry.
The commissioner indicated that these people, after committing the act, tried to flee in a vehicle, but were intercepted by the uniformed men who, at the time of their apprehension, observed the signs.
In addition to this, the vehicle used for the robbery maintains a complaint for theft in the Parque Lefevre area, since last October 24, 2022.
These people were placed at the orders of the corresponding authorities to face justice.
The Director General of the National Police, John Dornheim, went to the area where the arrest of those suspected of being involved in the robbery of the jewelry store was recorded.
