Out of the Champions League again. FC Barcelona was eliminated from the ‘Orejona’ group stage behind Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. The azulgranas will now face the UEFA Europa League from the round of 16.
The Catalunya team needed Viktoria Plzen to beat Inter in Italy, but this did not happen. The locals won against their people and ensured their presence in the round of 16 leaving out the Spanish team.
In this way, and for the second consecutive season since Xavi Hernández came to the bench, FC Barcelona will play in the UEFA Europa League.
