They grant a period of 5 days for parties to present challenges to Electoral Boards made up of JCE

Santo Domingo. – The Plenary of the Central Electoral Board (JCE), granted a period of five days for political parties, groups and movements to present in writing their justifications for the challenges made to the resolutions, which provide for the preliminary formation of 100 Electoral Boards , and 20 Electoral Logistics Coordination Offices Abroad.

Through a public hearing this Tuesday led by the president of the JCE, Román Jáquez Liranzo, the delegates of the wholesale parties made different observations.

Resolution No. 25-2022 was addressed at the meeting, which provides for the preliminary formation of 64 Electoral Boards. As well as resolutions 26-2022 and 31-2022, which provide for the formation of 36 electoral boards and 20 OCLEE.

The parties, movements and political groups have until next Tuesday, November 1st at 4 pm to deposit their considerations regarding the issues discussed through the General Secretariat of the JCE.

During the hearing, Jáquez Liranzo was accompanied by the members of the JCE Plenary: Rafael Armando Vallejo Santelises, Dolores Altagracia Fernández, Samir Chami Isa and the alternate member Anibelca Rosario, representing Patricia Lorenzo Paniagua, assisted by the alternate secretary general, Lourdes Salazar.

The substitute members of the Plenary of the JCE, Vanahí Bello Dotel, Hirayda Fernández, Prado López Cornielle and Freddy Ángel Castro also attended. Likewise.

Also present at the public hearing were the Director of Elections, Mario Núñez; the director of Political Parties, Lennis García; the director of Coordination of Electoral Boards, Ramón Urbaez Mancebo and the director of the Dominican Vote Abroad, Well Sepúlveda

The parties, movements and political groups have from this Tuesday the 25th until next Tuesday the 1st. November at 4 pm to deposit in writing via the General Secretariat of the JCE their considerations regarding both points discussed.
