The candidate for re-election to the Presidency of the Republic by the PL, Jair Bolsonaro, asked Bahian voters to seek to turn votes among friends and relatives for him to turn the election in Bahia, where he was behind candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the first round. Bolsonaro held rallies in two Bahian municipalities this Tuesday afternoon (25).
In Guanambi, he drew a crowd in the city’s central square. On the platform, surrounded by regional leaders and also many children, Bolsonaro appealed to everyone, asking them to seek votes that had gone to other candidates in the first round.
“What we want for the next 30th is for Brazil to continue on the path of prosperity, respect and freedom. An appeal I make to you. Let’s turn votes until the 30th. Many people voted for the PT without really knowing what our government is. Show them that our government is one of peace, work, prosperity and freedom. Let’s get, each one, more votes, in the family or among friends, that we will be victorious. Our victory is the certainty that Brazil will continue on the right path”, said the candidate for reelection.
According to the candidate, the country is currently experiencing a strong economic recovery, especially in terms of employment, with the number of vacancies in all sectors advancing every month.
“We are back in a much better situation than the [período] pre-pandemic. The job appears every month. At least 250 thousand each month. We’re on the way to success. Brazil, with order and progress, is what we all want,” he declared.
Bolsonaro said that his government has been corruption-free for almost four years and that he has been fighting various forces in the system and the media.
“We are fighting the system. Against a large part of the Brazilian media, against everything and almost everyone. But we have our Heavenly Father on our side and these wonderful people who are here. It’s not an easy life for a president who wants to do the right thing. But everything is valid for the good of his people. It comforts me and it makes me happy,” he stressed.
After Guanambi, the reelection candidate went to the municipality of Barreiras, where he was welcomed by supporters at the airport in the city of Bahia. Bolsonaro approached the guardrail and greeted several people.
From the airport, Bolsonaro traveled in an open van, accompanied by motorcyclists, to a hotel in the city, where he met with local leaders. This event preceded the rally that was scheduled for the central square of the city of Bahia.
