Since last October 21, the Colombian ambassador to Venezuela, Armando Benedetti, reported that it was enabled the Venezuelan airline Laser to operate the Maiquetía-Bogotá and Maracaibo – Bogotá routes with seven weekly frequencies.

At the moment, it is the airline that has made the most progress in the process to restart operations and is awaiting the approval of itineraries.

From Colombia will be Wingo that has authorization from the Aerocivil and has
accredited compliance with the requirements before the Venezuelan authority in relation to the Bogotá-Caracas-Bogotá route, with 7 weekly frequencies.

It will also have the Medellín-Caracas-Medellín and Bogotá-Valencia-Bogotá route, both with 7 frequencies per week. Wingo is ready to market its flights once the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Venezuela authorizes it.

For its part, Latam The Bogotá-Caracas-Bogotá route has been approved with 7 frequencies per week by the Civil Aeronautics of Colombia and acceptance of designation by the INAC of Venezuela.

Avianca will operate the same route with the same frequencies as authorized by Aerocivil. For now, it is accrediting the requirements before the National Institute of
Civil Aeronautics of Venezuela.

Turpial has the authorization for charter flights from Colombia and is awaiting the ‘approval’ of the Venezuelan government.
