The students who are part of the Interuniversity Assembly accused that, as a result of the recent protest mobilizations at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) -in particular, for the sexual assault denounced by a young woman from the South CCH-, repression and criminalization have increased
against organized students.
Yesterday, at the IPN Higher School of Economics, they agreed to strengthen the preparatory work for the national strike in the education sector, on November 14.
According to those attending the meeting – which was attended by delegates from 23 schools of the UNAM, the IPN and the Autonomous Metropolitan University, in addition to the National School of Anthropology and History – the protest actions will continue because these days repression has intensified
towards student groups.

At the meeting it was also assured that a student from the Normal Rural of Panotla, Tlaxcala, has brain death, after a confrontation with state police, on the Apizaco-San Martín Texmelucan highway, for which they will issue a statement of solidarity with the students. of those schools.
