The president witnessed the progress made in the works to widen the highway to four lanes La Pera-Cuautla highway, a work that is almost finished, after a decade of delays, and that will be inaugurated shortly.
López Obrador affirmed that his government is doing well, without increasing debt, without gasoline and with measures to control inflation. Notwithstanding, he considered that his administration is resisting the “slander campaigns”.
The president assured that the plan to have a “first world health system” was stopped by the pandemic, but now that cases are already decreasing, he added, the strategy was resumed in Nayarit, Colima and Tlaxcala.
López Obrador said that he hopes that for the next one there will already be a “first class” health system, since he accused that “they left him with many problems, among them the insufficiency of doctors.”
“This now leads us to why Mexico does not have the doctors it requires, we have a shortage of doctors and specialists,” he said.
