Also, blamed the mayor of Puerto Quijarro for instigating people to attack civic and to the people who were preparing to start the indefinite strike with blockades in the border region with Brazil on the first day.

For his part, the governor of Santa Cruz, Luis Fernando Camacho, indicated that this day, in the municipality of Camiri, a “shock group to end the MAS tried to unblock” the picket installed in the region, but the resistance of the young Camireños managed to prevent it.

He stressed that the people of Santa Cruz still remain in the streets, carrying out blockades in a peaceful manner, but that they will resist the attacks. “Once again this beautiful town in the streets achieves what in La Paz they do not want to give usthis town is peaceful, this town is hard-working, but this town is rebellious and brave, and it will not go home if we don’t have a census in 2023,” he said.

El Montero, in one of the municipalities where it is considered an area with the greatest support for the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), an unusual day is experienced, since the indefinite strike is felt from its streets looking deserted, little open trade, little traffic and with the blockade on the new highway to Cochabamba.

The female civic president of Pailón, Jéssica Justiniano, indicated that they will remain firm in the blockade, but they determined to give intermediate quarters in three specific hours of each day to ease the load on the road, one at 6:00, another at 12:00, and the last at 18:00.

This Sunday, in the interior of the town, little vehicular movement was seen in the internal streets of the municipality, without interprovincial transport truffis.
In Puerto Pailas, a town dependent on the municipality of Cotoca, the residents blocked vehicular traffic on the bridge over the Río Grande, place where they also make a common pot for those who support the measure demanding that the indefinite unemployment by a census in 2023.

“The town was opened to rejoice in their faith, but the blockade continues, it is a mandate, we cannot suspend it and we stand in solidarity with the Germán Busch province and its civic authorities. Nevertheless, one of the municipalities that did not comply with the indefinite strike summoned in Santa Cruz was the municipality of San Matías, region where all its activities were carried out normally.
Another area that did not join the measure was Vallegrande. The merchants attended their stalls in the markets normally, as did the taxi and motorcycle service. The bus terminal was opened to the public, but no passengers were seen. Nevertheless, Vallegrande university students joined a blockade picket in Samaipata, measure supported by the residents of Caballero and Florida.
