The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, congratulated his counterpart Xi Jinping this Sunday on his re-election as Secretary General of the Communist Party of China.
Through a post published by the Head of State on his Twitter account, he stressed that the Chinese President will continue to lead, with his leadership, the Asian giant along the paths of growth, development and peace.
“I congratulate brother President Xi Jinping on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China. I am sure that he will continue to lead, with his exemplary leadership, the Asian giant along the paths of growth, development and peace. Long live China!” Maduro said in his tweet.

Venezuela reaffirms the commitment to strengthen the ties of cooperation between both nations, for the well-being of the peoples.
“From Venezuela we reaffirm the commitment to continue promoting close relations of cooperation, communication and coordination between our parties, to provide greater well-being to both peoples, contributing in turn to the strengthening of the China-Venezuela Comprehensive Strategic Association,” said the text, published on the website of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
