The delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in the territory, Iyolexis Correa, stated during a meeting of entities in the sector, that the hotel and recreational facilities of Jardines del Rey “show a renewed image and with the staff prepared to provide a quality service as it is required by foreign and national visitors”.

He explained that “they speed up the resuscitation work of the support institutions, gardening, placement of promotional billboards and traffic signs on the pedraplén (road over the sea) and on interior roads,” adds the news release.

For his part, Liván Izquierdo, first secretary of the Communist Party in Ciego de Ávila, called on tourism entities “to control resources, savings and efficiency, due to the tense economic situation the country is going through.”

Inform PL that in November the inauguration of the Grand Aston Cayo Paredón hotel is scheduled, which will have 635 rooms and will be the first installation of that islet and of the Archipelago International tourist group in that region of northern Avilanian.

In the same way, the reopening of the Colonial Cayo Coco hotel will be carried out, which “was subjected to a complete restoration, transformation of its image and the design of attractive services,” the agency specifies.

Made up of Coco, Guillermo, Paredón Grande and Antón Chico keys, Jardines del Rey will once again offer visitors “its excellent product of sun and beach and varied non-hotel offers linked to the natural environment of great biological diversity, suitable for hiking, tourism of nature and water sports“, assures PL.

Jardines del Rey has more than 30 kilometers of beaches, mostly in a natural state, while also having 25 accommodation facilities with more than 10,000 rooms.

After the slump imposed by the pandemic, the Cuban tourism sector is trying to recover and provide a greater financial contribution to the battered Cuban economy. The authorities of the sector aspire to receive 2.5 million visitors by the end of the year, a goal for which the upcoming winter high season is decisive.
