The International Police Prefecture (Polint) at the Santiago airport on Friday prevented the entry of a Spanish citizen, investigated and convicted of terrorism crimes in France and linked to the Euskadi Ta Askatasuna (ETA) organization.
According to Thirdthe prefect Christian Saez, head of the International Airport Police Prefecture, commented that the subject came from Bilbao, Spain. That same Friday, at about 1:00 p.m., he was re-embarked.
“He was prevented from entering the country by virtue of the Chilean Migration Law, for registering a conviction in France of the High Court of Paris for the crime of terrorism, and must also serve five years in prison,” said Sáez.
“To achieve this procedure, coordination was carried out with the Interpol National Central Office and Spanish nationalized special agencies,” he added.
Let us remember that ETA was a terrorist and Basque nationalist. During its operation, it committed various attacks.
