Engines roar again on the Inca Trail and this is the route of the first stage

The party started! After two years of suspension, the Caminos del Inca national rally returns in its 50th edition organized by the Automobile Club Peruano, in which the 136 units that passed the technical reviews participate.

The rally will run 2612 kilometers, in six stages: Lima-Huancayo (Sunday October 23), Huancayo-Ayacucho (Tuesday 25), Ayacucho – Cusco (Thursday 27), Cusco-Puno (Saturday 29), Puno – Arequipa (Sunday 30 ) and Arequipa – Cusco (November 1).

The competition takes months of preparation and after three days of technical review, last Friday the Raymi was held on the Costa Verde of Magdalena del Mar with the parade of race cars down the starting ramp. Yesterday, Saturday, the Super Prime was held at the La Chuntana racetrack, the duo formed by Ronmel Palomino and Guillermo Sierra won with 01 hour 38 minutes and 10 seconds, but chose to start third. The starting order of the first 5 is: Fausto Farfán, Jorge Martínez, Ronmel Palomino, Ian Sierlecki and Raúl Orlandini

It starts today at 8:00 a.m. from Canta in Lima, La Oroya, Paccha (link), Pachacayo (Jauja), Chaquicocha (Concepción) until reaching Huancayo, completing a route of 307 kms that will be completed in an average of 7 hours with 30 minutes.
