Financial education changes people’s lives. Thinking about it, the Association of Banks of Peru developed hand in hand with CrehanaFinanzas Al Toque, a 100% free online micro-learning platform with content in the form of short courses, conferences and campaigns that help citizens manage their finance personal and business.
The course program has been developed together with the Peruvian company specializing in online education. It contains short and didactic courses dictated by international experts in the field of entrepreneurship and personal finance. It has been designed to offer a simple and adaptable learning experience to the needs of people.
The contents are based on studies carried out by the Association of Banks to identify the main learning needs of Peruvians, and it was developed with the advice of Instituto Apoyo, specialists in educational issues.

Regarding this launch, Martín Naranjo, Chairman of the Asbanc Board of Directors commented: “Financial education is a fundamental axis for financial inclusion, and for our association, inclusion is the most important objective. With Finanzas Al Toque we seek that Peruvians take better advantage of the opportunities that exist, and that they have more tools to manage their money in the best way”.
For his part, Miguel Vargas, general manager of the entity, commented that the courses will include simple and useful materials that adapt to the needs of people: “The financial system offers tools that can be very important for the progress of families. And more and more initiatives are being given so that people know how to use these tools in the best way. Through short, didactic and similar courses, more people will be able to learn very useful skills to progress”.
Finanzas Al Toque will have 4 courses on managing personal finances and entrepreneurship at its launch. Users will be able to learn how to better manage their home finances with the course of personal finance dictated by Francisco Montoya. Young people who are just beginning their independent life will be able to learn to better manage their money and conveniently use banking products such as credit cards, with the course finances to start in charge of the well-known Finanfieres.

“Finanzas Al toca” is the financial education program of the Association of Banks of Peru that, together with its allies, seeks to satisfy the needs of training and development of financial capacities of people for the exercise of full citizenship and aimed at a better quality of life and well-being.
