The second edition of the “Library Route” has arrived, which will take place today, Saturday, October 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will have the participation of ten institutions.
In the Library of Congress there will be a guided tour of the facilities, where the operation of the institution and all the services available to the general public will be explained, in addition there will be pleasant surprises for the participants.
The Library of Congress is located within route “A” of the Asunción section, for those who wish to visit or learn about the Library and Central Archives of the National Congress (BACCN). It should be noted that people can join from any point of the tours, free of charge.
The “Library Route” includes the Biblioparque del Parque de la Salud; Maker Lab of the Roosevelt Library of the Paraguayan American Cultural Center (CCPA); Alliance Française media library; Cervantes Library of the Cultural Center of Spain Juande Salazar (CCEJS); Augusto Roa Bastos Library in the Manzana de la Rivera; Library and Central Archive of the National Congress (BACCN); Maximilian de Freundorfer Liberaity Library Foundation and the Euclides da Cunha Library of the Center for Brazilian Studies.
The route will also include the Postgraduate and Biomedical Sciences libraries of the Universidad del Norte; “Manuel Gondra” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and “La Chispa”.
