After the resignation of the magistrate of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) Ileana Perez Lopez Daniel Ortega’s regime is now committed to “investigating” his circle of trust, as reported by lawyer Yader Morazán through his Twitter account.
The official made her formal resignation on Friday, October 21, alleging alleged health reasons. The decision was made public through a letter addressed to the first secretary of the National Assembly, Loria Dixon.

Regarding the alleged resignation of Pérez, Morazán pointed out that as of April 2018, the Ortega dictatorship forced many state workers. “They have made dismissals without any legal procedure, just as they have forced others to resign.”
She also explained that until her resignation is discussed or approved in the National Assembly, the magistrate continues to enjoy immunity, “therefore, the Police should not intervene her, but we all know that the Police have accompanied her all this time, by point that they had in «El Chipote».

Pérez would have been stripped of her judicial responsibilities before the constituency of the departments of Rivas and Granada, which could mean that the regime subjected her to an investigation.
On Tuesday, October 18, the official, faithful to the presidential couple, was taken to the renowned torture center. Pérez had been removed last weekend from her administrative positions in the two departments. The magistrate had been in that position for two years, her main function was the cases that came to the Civil Court.
The attack against the now official occurred after the apprehension of Robert Larios, CSJ spokesman, who was accused of “undermining national integrity.” Last week the dismissal of two directors of the Judiciary was also known.
