The former President of the Republic, Ricardo Martinelli, accompanied this Saturday, October 22, the group of representatives and deputies led by Yanibel Abrego, to Las Rayas de Santa María, in the province of Veraguas, where he assured that they will remove Rómulo Roux from the Cambio Democrático party ( CD).
“We will remove the current president Rómulo Roux for being a coward and because he does not have the votes of the bases,” they affirmed during the tour organized by the leaders of Cambio Democrático with a view to the next internal elections.
‘El loco’ asked the members of the CD to give their vote to the representatives and deputies of the Yanibel Ábrego line to renew the current Board of Directors, while asking for confidence in the government that he will lead in 2024, assuring that they will restore the hope of dreaming to Panamanians.
«Today’s rulers have us kidnapped, making us waste our time in ‘scams’ and doing nothing. Trust in Panama because we are going to make a difference in education, in health, in security and do not believe in those who think they will remain in power, they are not going anywhere,” said the former president, while donating 5 computers in the activity organized by the deputy Fátima Agrazal.
Martinelli referred to the need that Veraguas has for a general hospital and a cancer hospital to care for patients suffering from cancer and who must travel to the capital city to be treated and mentioned that everything that has been taken will be rescued to town.
Yanibel Ábrego, for her part, stressed that the Democratic Change Alliance will be with Realizing Goals and with its leader Ricardo Martinelli, who in her opinion was “the man who changed this country, the man who promoted projects that benefited all Panamanians.” ».
Ábrego listed multiple works that Martinelli carried out such as the Panama Metro, hospitals, schools, the Jumbo Fairs and Jumbo Stores where there was cheap food; in addition to the fact that he generated thousands of decent jobs for Panamanians and added that he is the only one who has the ability to do it again.
As part of his “El Cambio Es Ya” campaign, Abrego called for “support for the conventionalists and members of the CD to govern again and to rescue the party from the clutches of the current president who is afraid of going to elections because he lacks pants and the votes to win.
¨The representatives and mayors, at the national level, as well as the deputies, are asking the Electoral Tribunal to take action so that Rómulo Roux can carry out the elections for Conventionals, Secretariats for Women and Youth, as well as the Board of Directors in the time that corresponds to him and not as Roux imposed them to stay beyond the period that corresponds to him¨, among other things said Yanibel Abrego.
