This afternoon we again faced an act of violence in our city, a direct attack on a restaurant in Providencia. The area is guarded by officials from the three levels of government, investigations are ongoing and there is no risk to circulate in the area.

The Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office explained that there are three people who lost their lives in the attack, while another four were injured.
According to the authorities, members of organized crime participated in the attack.
Another of the victims is Luis Fernando Muñoz Ortega, former Puerto Vallarta Security Commissioner.
“We will be waiting for the investigations carried out by the State Prosecutor’s Office and the competent authorities, waiting for the prompt clarification of this fact and for those responsible to be found,” he said in an information card.
“Those who make up this City Council express their solidarity with the family and friends of our colleague, hoping they will find comfort soon, as well as those who also lost their lives in this event,” he added.
For its part, Morena Jalisco lamented the death of Llamas Urbina, who also served as an adviser to said party.
The party demanded that the corresponding authorities find the alleged perpetrators.
This same week, Enrique Alfaro said that Jalisco is not one of the entities that top the lists of criminal incidence, unlike the territories governed today by Morena. His words were a response to the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López, who had assured that in addition to Guanajuato and Michoacán, Jalisco was “a paradise” for criminals.
“I am not going to answer with offenses and lies. But I want to say that Jalisco, with data presented by the President of the Republic, is below the average in the national criminal incidence, ”said the president in a video shared on his social networks.
