The Republican candidate for the government of the state of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, said today (21) that he will bet on sports in schools to help in the development of young people. According to the candidate, the proposal is to implement the concept of an integrated school, in which the student can have access to different sports at the place of study.
“We are going to take the sport into schools,” said Tarcísio at an event with professional fighters, in the capital of São Paulo. “This is fundamental, sport is really transformative and we discussed this a lot: transformation through sport”, added the candidate.
Tarcísio de Freitas also highlighted that sport can be a gateway for young people to enter the job market. “We have a lot of talent that needs to be developed and sport will be a way to develop those talents. This can open a door for many young people, who can find in sport an opening to the job market”, he added.
