The Electoral Service (Servel) recognized Amarillos por Chile as a political party in formation this Friday. This, after the Servel published an extract from the deed of constitution of the community.
Amarillos presented the document before the Servel on September 23, with the aim of forming itself as a party. In the text, the writer Christian Warnken -face of Rejection during the campaign for the exit plebiscite- appears as president, while the ex-DC Soledad Alvear appears as a member of the provisional Supreme Court (TS).

Let us remember that Amarillos por Chile emerged, under the leadership of Cristián Warnken, in the midst of the development of the Constitutional Convention. The movement was critical of the constituent body and then leaned towards the Rejection option in the face of the September 4 plebiscite.
To become a party, Amarillos have a period of 210 days to obtain a certain number of affiliations.
“It will be necessary for a number of citizens with the right to vote equivalent to at least 0.25% of the electorate who voted in the last election of deputies in each of the regions where it is being constituted to join the party,” he says. the Servel website.
