Santo Domingo.- A total of nine students are out of danger after they were intoxicated this Thursday with the milk served at the school breakfast of the Club 16 de Agosto school, in the Herrera sector, Santo Domingo Oeste.
Due to the negative effects caused, the students received medical care with hydration with saline solution at the Engombe Hospital and the Marcelino Vélez Hospital.

According to the National Institute of Student Welfare (INABIE), a team of technicians from the Food Quality Assurance and Monitoring departments carried out the site survey and sent samples of the batch of milk to the Dr. Defilló National Public Health Laboratory to evaluate and establish the conditions of the product served.
Given what happened, INABIE regretted the fact and made itself available to the relatives, committing to offer the results of the investigation.
