After the elections in which the “Médicos Unidos” group was elected by decision of the voters, the new Board of Directors of CASMU assumed for the period 2022-2025.
The Board is chaired by Dr. Raúl Germán Rodríguez, who was re-elected to the position, accompanied by doctors Juan José Areosa, Andrea Zumar, Álvaro Niggemeyer and Cristina Rey. Meanwhile, the Fiscal Commission is made up of doctors Álvaro Arigón, Gabriel De Feo and Mariela Mansilla.
The strategic plan of the Board of Directors for the next three years will aim to develop primary care, bringing family medicine closer to the different neighborhoods and localities. It will also seek to promote the care system so that people over 65 years of age have a better quality of life, and a greater physical infrastructure will continue to be developed with the construction of a medical center in Ciudad del Plata and a sanatorium in Cerro.
In addition, the creation of seven surgical blocks is planned and unify the CTI of its central sanatorium in a single physical space, among other works.
