A man of Bolivarian nationality was deported to his country of origin after being required by Interpol-Bolivia, for the crime of Illicit Enrichment.
Said extradition was carried out through the Tocumen International Airport in the afternoon of this Thursday, October 20 of this year.
This process was carried out by the National Police of Panama, which through the National Central Office of Interpol-Panama and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, handed over Guillermo Parada Vaca to the units of the Interpol-Bolivia.
Parada Vaca returned to his country on a commercial flight to Santa Cruz/Bolivia and will later be handed over to the judicial authorities in Santa Cruz/Bolivia.
On December 31, 2021, Parada Vaca was apprehended at the Tocumen International Airport after maintaining a red notice for extradition purposes to the Republic of Bolivia and after culminating in a series of appeals filed, his extradition was legalized.
According to said request, the extradited person is linked to the alleged commission of the crimes of Favoring Illicit Enrichment and Illicit Enrichment of individuals affecting the State of Bolivia, Santa Cruz.
